Ashburn has five public high schools with varsity football: Broad Run, Briar Woods, Independence, Rock Ridge and Stone Bridge, all in Loudoun County Public Schools and the Virginia High School League. The regular season ends the first week of November, and the region playoffs start Nov. 13. Scores are on our high school scoreboard.

Broad Run played at Woodgrove High School in Purcellville on Oct. 23. The Broad Run athletics site loads its schedule in the browser and did not show the Oct. 30 and Nov. 6 games to us on Oct. 28; check it on game week.

Playoffs

The VHSL region playoffs run on Fridays from Nov. 13, with the higher seed hosting, according to Stone Bridge’s schedule. Brackets and seedings are posted by the Virginia High School League.
