Ashburn farmers markets: days, hours and locations

Ashburn has two of the region’s biggest farmers markets, and both run year-round: Ashbrook on Saturday mornings and Brambleton on Sunday mornings, each run by EatLoco. Two more cooperative markets, in Leesburg and at Cascades, are a short drive away.

Ashbrook Market (formerly One Loudoun)

Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., year-round. EatLoco calls Ashbrook its flagship market. It started at One Loudoun in December 2017 with eight vendors and moved on March 9, 2024, to the parking lot of the Christian Fellowship Church on Atwater Drive, a short walk from its old spot. EatLoco puts the average at more than 110 vendors and more than 5,000 shoppers a week.

Brambleton Market

Sundays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., year-round. The Brambleton Market is in the heart of the Brambleton Town Center and opened in spring 2018. EatLoco lists an average of more than 50 vendors and 2,000 shoppers a week, with many of the same vendors as Ashbrook. It also posts a weekly layout.

Leesburg Farmers Market

Saturdays, year-round; 8 a.m. to noon May through October. The Loudoun Valley Homegrown Markets Cooperative runs this market at the Virginia Village Shopping Center, 30 Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg. Vendors include tree-fruit, pork and beef farms, bakers and a coffee roaster, and many attend year-round. It is listed by the USDA as a SNAP-authorized market.

Cascades Farmers Market

Sundays, 9 a.m. to noon, May through October. The cooperative’s Cascades market is in the parking lot of the Senior Center at 21060 Whitfield Drive, Sterling, about 5 miles east of Ashburn. Its 2026 season ends this month. The USDA lists it as SNAP-authorized.

Paying with SNAP

As of Oct. 18, the USDA SNAP retailer locator lists two Loudoun farmers markets as SNAP-authorized: Leesburg and Cascades. The Ashbrook and Brambleton markets do not appear on the list. Some individual vendors at any market may accept EBT on their own; ask at the stall.
