Most of Ashburn’s dessert shops are at One Loudoun, where Van Leeuwen, The Yard and the Four Corners container park sit within a short walk. Dairy Queen and Baskin-Robbins serve the Ashburn Village area, and Authors is in the University Commerce Center north of Route 7.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records with an Ashburn address, the data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 19, 2026. We added places from the Virginia Department of Health’s restaurant inspection records and the One Loudoun directory, and kept a place only where its own site gives an Ashburn address or a second official source shows it open. Ashburn is not a city, so “Ashburn” here means an Ashburn mailing address. We left out Duck Donuts in Broadlands, whose health permit is listed as closed, and bubble tea shops. The places

Authors Best-Selling Ice Creams in the University Commerce Center makes ice cream from local dairy and offers catering for events. Its site says it is being rebuilt during a rebranding; the health department shows an active permit.

Bake N’ Flake By Swetha is a cake shop in the Four Corners container park. The One Loudoun directory describes whipped cream cakes with Indian-inspired flavors such as gulab jamun and rasmalai, plus custom celebration cakes, parfaits, cupcakes and cake pops. We found no website.

Baskin-Robbins shares a store with Dunkin’ at Ashbrook Marketplace. Its store page would not load for us; the health department shows an active permit.

Dairy Queen in the Ashburn Village shopping center is the chain’s Ashburn store. Its store page blocked us; the health department shows an active permit.

Fantasticks Gelato is a custom gelato and pop shop in the Four Corners container park: customers pick a base, a chocolate drizzle and toppings. It also books events and sells DIY kits. Its site posts weekend hours only for One Loudoun.

The Yard Milkshake Bar at One Loudoun sells milkshakes, ice cream, sundaes and edible cookie dough. The chain says it was featured on “Shark Tank.”

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream at One Loudoun serves its ice cream and vegan ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, cookie sandwiches, sundaes, milkshakes and pints to go.
