Ashburn’s outdoor tables are spread out: One Loudoun has a rooftop terrace and a terrace bar over the plaza, Loudoun Station has Juleps’ two patios, and Broadlands has Clyde’s farmhouse grounds. Carolina Brothers’ patio sits beside the W&OD Trail in Old Ashburn.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records with an Ashburn address, the data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 19, 2026. We added places from the Virginia Department of Health’s restaurant inspection records and the One Loudoun directory. A place is on this list only if its own site says it has a patio, terrace or outdoor seating; OpenStreetMap tags alone were not enough. Ashburn is not a city, so “Ashburn” here means an Ashburn mailing address. Outdoor seating depends on the weather, so call ahead in winter. The list is alphabetical. Buffalo Wing Factory on Parkhurst Plaza says its Ashburn restaurant has a large covered patio with several TVs, along with a party room.
Carolina Brothers Pit BBQ sits beside the W&OD Trail and has a large pet-friendly patio with umbrellas. It serves Eastern North Carolina-style barbecue.
Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm in Broadlands is in a restored farmhouse and says it has outdoor seating. Only service dogs are allowed on the property.
Five Guys lists outdoor seating at both Ashburn restaurants, on Waxpool Road and on Dulles Overlook Drive.
